This past year has been incredibly challenging for Jews worldwide, with a rise in antisemitism making our community feel more vulnerable than ever. Jewish girls see the institutions they trusted raging with antisemitism and their society burning with hate. They no longer feel welcome in their cities, and their futures seem uncertain.
What does this have to do with camp? Everything.
Jewish girls need a haven to feel secure, valued, and understood—a place to celebrate and strengthen their Jewish identity. CGI Poconos has provided this for thirteen years.
This summer, we plan to provide partial scholarships for 120 girls and enhance our security with a 24/7 professional team, adding an extra expense of $60,000.
